Coffee Monkey Brewing Co. is accepting Store Manager Applications for launching a structured Coffee Cooperative Opportunity starting with a Café opening in Phoenix, Arizona.  This business is built on empowering individual and community cash flow by appealing to those with a passion for great coffee, culture, and hearts for exceptional service.


This Store Leader will continuously strive to improve corporate operations, increase sales, and build a strong, well-developed and knowledgeable team in alignment with the proprietary values we hold here at the Coffee Monkey.

  • Willingness to take the most effective role while overseeing the day to day operations for the store

  • Role models exceptional guest service for team members and continually motivates team to deliver passionate guest service at all times.

  • Executes all job assignments with excellence, and takes accountability for understanding and achieving shift goals.

  • Attend mandatory training to learn our powerful fiscal management approach for developing and improving personal financial literacy, while involving community to participate in tactical organic economic growth strategies deployed via Coffee Monkey’s ongoing recruiting & training program.

  • Empower the team to make decisions that are in the best interest of the Guest and provides a learning environment to build capability to satisfy Guests, and recruit community participation in our Cooperative effort.

  • Builds teamwork through effective training, deployment and communication.

  • Understands performance criteria and holds self and team accountable through effective coaching.

  • Delegates tasks to the team to accomplish goals on their shift.

  • Participates in action plans to address issues and opportunities.

  • Track results with recorded performance variance.

  • Recognizes gaps utilizing business tools and responds with appropriate action.

  • Schedules appropriately and delegates tasks, matching assignments for team with their skills and competencies, to accomplish goals.


  • 2 years Retail or Restaurant Management experience required

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze situations and make good business decisions

  • Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, team builder

  • Results and goal driven, while always remembering that people come first

  • On-boarding of new employees.

  • Speaks/Reads English.

  • Understands the importance of executing an action plan during a shift.

  • Embraces learning for continuous improvement.

  • Understands the importance of teamwork and treats all team members with respect.

  • Follows through on commitments.

  • Ensures the restaurant meets safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards during the shift.

  • Thinks creatively and seizes business opportunities.

  • Enjoys new and exciting challenges in a fast-paced environment.


  • Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects and/or stand for long periods.

  • Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with our without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision.

  • Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
